Opera "Manekiny" - Opera Wrocławska

A new commission from Wroclaw Opera made in collaboration with director and visual artist Kamila Siwinska. Choreography by Kasia Witek. Mannequins is a chamber opera written by Zbigniew Rudzinski (1935-2019). The composer based the libretto on the prose of Bruno Schulz (1892-1942). He used the short stories from the collection Sklepy cynamonowe (Street of Crocodiles). Premiered 1st March 2024 at Opera Wroclawska with a pre-show at Museum POLIN in Warsaw .
